New school branch opens in Charsadda

Expanding horizons. As our existing school building is not meeting the needs of the increasing number of students, our school committee has decided to open a new branch of the Hopes School in Charsadda, Northwest Pakistan.

The Hopes Horizon School, Gulbela

Gulbela is a village in the Charsadda District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northwest Pakistan of approx. 70-80 thousand inhabitants, where 90% of the population are uneducated and people’s source of income is laboring and farming. In most families, the bread earner is not able to fulfill the needs of the whole family; thus resulting child labor. Parents are not earning enough to cover costs such as school fees, school uniform, books etc. As a result children are involved in street peddling and selling on the streets in order to collect a wage and support their families. Many children are doing hard physical labor.

Hopes Foundation has established the new Hopes Horizon School in the area. We encourage you to consider becoming a sponsor for one of these children. Why? Because your contribution as a sponsor does not only benefit a single child with schooling, but an entire society towards a positive development, health and quality of life.

Sponsor a child now or contact us and let’s have a chat about how your sponsorship can make a difference.
